MVM CEEnergy and ENGIE Energy Marketing Singapore have signed a long-term agreement for the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG). The agreement will serve as a key pillar of Hungary’s future energy security. ENGIE Energy Marketing Singapore is a subsidiary of the French energy group ENGIE.
Between 2028 and 2038, Hungary will import 400 million cubic meters of LNG annually from the French energy company. Over the full term of the agreement, this amounts to 4 billion cubic meters.
The deal expands Hungary’s energy network by adding another reliable partner. Both parties expressed openness to further deepening their longstanding cooperation.
