Morgan Stanley plans further expansion in Budapest. A quarter of the international financial services provider’s global risk management staff is already employed here.
Morgan Stanley called Hungary’s large number of talented analysts as the main attraction for the expansion. The Hungarian education system produces many useful professionals with analytical thinking and strong IT or math skills, and the fact that Budapest is in the European time zone is also an advantage.
Morgan Stanley’s risk management team has been in Budapest since 2008, employs around 2,000 people and has become an important analysis center in the Hungarian economy.
