More hotel openings – Five-star hotel in Szántód

In Szántód at lake Balaton, the five-star Mövenpick BalaLand Resort and FamilyPark hotel was handed over. The development of the Hungarian Dreamland Holding worth more than HUF 20 billion (EUR 53 million) was supported by the state with HUF 7 billion (EUR 18.5 million).

The Mövenpick BalaLand Resort with 109 rooms is operated by the international hotel group Accor. Accor is introducing the Mövenpick hotel brand in Hungary with the Mövenpick BalaLand Resort and Family Park in Szántód. The hotel was inspired by Jules Verne’s “Around the World in 80 Days”. The FamilyPark includes an indoor and outdoor water park, an adventure park as well as more than 5,000 square meters of indoor facilities and 112 residential apartments.

Dreamland Holding’s future plans include the construction of a five-star hotel with 102 rooms in Balatonfüred by the end of the year.
