Magnus Aircraft Zrt. laid the foundation stone for the new production hall for small aircraft in Pogány (near Pécs).

The company will build its own four-seater light aircraft here. The four-seater model will also be launched on the market in a version with an electric drive.

Magnus Aircraft’s two-seater aircraft have already tapped into a global market, with applications ranging from forestry management to border surveillance. Following the market success of the two-seater Fusion II, the composite lightweight construction company also wanted to venture into a four-seater aircraft. To this end, the company purchased the licence for the Russian IL-103, which has been built as a single-engine all-metal aircraft since the 1990s.

Founded ten years ago, Magnus Aircraft Zrt. employs 80 people and has spent around HUF 6 billion (EUR 15.3 million) on a series of investment projects in recent years.
