Canadian automotive supplier Magna International has started the production of body and chassis components at its new facility in Vecsés, Hungary.
The plant will initially employ 240 people, with plans to increase the workforce to up to 300. Components manufactured at the site will be supplied to major German car manufacturers.
The Vecsés investment amounts to HUF 19 billion (approx. EUR 50 million), with state support totalling HUF 3.8 billion (approx. EUR 9.9 million).
