Lightware Zrt. – manufacturer of audiovisual products – is expanding its Budapest R&D center and establishing an engineering services center in Szeged.
The announced projects will create over 40 jobs for development engineers. For this reason, the state is providing HUF 2.4 billion (EUR 6 million) in funding for the series of investments, which are estimated to cost HUF 9 billion (approx. EUR 22.5 million). The Hungarian company, which was once founded by two students, now works as a partner to Google, Facebook, Netflix and Microsoft. More than three quarters of its 400 employees are based in Hungary.
