Henkel Magyarország Kft. – Increased capacity in Környe

The German chemical company Henkel has expanded its capacities in Környe.

Henkel invested HUF 12 billion (EUR 29 million) and received HUF 1.7 billion (EUR 4.1 million) in state subsidies. The industrial output in Komárom-Esztergom County, where the company produces adhesives, has doubled over the past ten years. As part of the project, the workforce at this site increased to 300 employees.

German investors have always been among the most active business communities in Hungary. Over the past ten years, the government has supported 318 German large-scale projects, generating a total of HUF 3,800 billion (EUR 9.1 billion) in investments.
