A new logistics project has been linking Törökbálint with Düsseldorf since October using innovative truck loading technology.
The cooperation between the DEPO logistics center and the German transport company HELROM is an important step for intermodal transport. Loading takes place at the siding in Törökbálint with the help of innovative HELROM technology.
Due to the enormous demand, the originally planned weekly connection between the two cities was extended to six train pairs per week after just a few days.
DEPO Kft. plans to invest HUF 2-3 billion (approx. EUR 5-7.5 million) in Törökbálint over the next 10 years, including in infrastructure, new warehouses and improved FM technology.
