CJ Foods, South Korea’s largest food group, is building a greenfield plant in Dunavarsány. From the second half of 2026, ready meals will be produced here on 14,000 square meters under the brand name “bibigo”.

The investment, estimated at HUF 31 billion (around EUR 75 million), will be subsidized by the state with HUF 5.3 billion (EUR 12.8 million). 200 jobs will be created in production and the connected logistics center as part of the development.

Most of the raw materials will be purchased from Hungarian farmers and partners. The products will be exported primarily to Western Europe.

CJ Foods recently achieved a total turnover of around EUR 7.5 billion with plants at 60 locations.
