Civita Group has been added on the Budapest Stock Exchange

Trade of shares of corn processing company Civita Group started on the Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT). The company is listed with 12.03 million shares with a nominal value of HUF 100 each and has completed its primary public offering with a capital increase of just over HUF 450 million (EUR 1.2 million).

The Civita Group operates one of the largest corn mills in Central Europe in Monostorpályi near Debrecen. It processes exclusively GMO-free maize from Hungarian farmers, from which, among other things, milling products, maize paste and maize oil are produced. It also supplies the brewing, food and animal feed industries. Almost half of its finished products are sold in Western Europe, where there is a shortage of GMO-free maize products in many countries.
