Robert Bosch Kft. is building a new 3,500 square meters automotive center in Zalaegerszeg by 2025 with an investment of HUF 4.2 billion (EUR 10.44 million). In addition, 200 new, highly qualified jobs will be created here to research and test technology related to autonomous driving, e-mobility and artificial intelligence (AI). The state is supporting the development with HUF 1.2 billion (EUR 2.9 million).
A few days ago, Bosch had handed over the newest automotive technology development center at the Budapest Innovation Campus. The HUF 70 billion (EUR 174 million) investment includes 14,000 square meters research laboratory and testing environmnets and a 10,000 square meters uniquely equipped instrumented test track. Electromobility and autonomous driving are also the focus here.
