The Chinese Wanhua Group has completed a series of investments worth a total of EUR 400 million in Berente (Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county). The government granted tax incentives amounting to EUR 44.5 million.
In addition to three chemical plants with annual capacities of 240,000 tons of nitrobenzene, 200,000 tons of aniline and 90,000 tons of nitric acid, a thermal power plant was built.
