Preparations for the series production of the new generation of MEBeco electric drives are in full swing at Audi Hungaria.
Series production is expected to start in the first half of 2026.
In addition to assembling the MEBeco electric drives, Audi Hungaria’s engine plant in Győr will also produce rotors, plate packs and power electronics at its own site, based on its existing expertise in stator and gearbox manufacturing. The new production activities will take place on a 33,000 square meters area.
With more than 11,000 employees, Audi Hungaria is one of Hungary’s largest employers. With investments of over EUR 12 billion since its establishment, it is the country’s largest foreign investor.
