The High-Speed Oval of the ZalaZONE vehicle test track should be fully completed by spring 2025. Tests at speeds of up to 250 km/h can then be carried out here.
A special SMB Strabag Max Bögl asphalt paver was used to build the 47-degree parabolic curves on the 4,500 m long oval. There are only two special machine tracks in the world that are suitable for the construction of parabolic curves.
With the completion of the high-speed oval, ZalaZONE will offer a product portfolio that is unique in Europe. This will apply both to traditional testing and to new technologies.
