Coca-Cola HBC Magyarország – Largest investment in recent years

Coca-Cola HBC Magyarország is investing EUR 23 million (around HUF 8.7 billion) to upgrade its production and logistics capacities. By the end of the year, Hungary’s largest beverage company will build a new production hall at its headquarters in Dunaharaszti, where a modern high-performance production line will be installed. In addition, the company will make improvements to increase loading and production capacity.

The investment is another important step towards making the Dunaharaszti plant the production hub of the Coca-Cola HBC Group in Central Europe.

Coca-Cola HBC Magyarország has been continuously developing its production activities since 1996. In the last 27 years, the company has made several major investments. As a result, 2 production plants and 8 logistics distribution centers have been built, including the largest food industry warehouse in Hungary. The expansion and modernisation of the Dunaharaszti production plant is a top priority for the company, as it supplies not only the entire Hungarian market, but also 17 export countries. The current capacity expansion investment is the second largest investment in Dunaharaszti, following the installation of the second aseptic (non-carbonated) production line in 2007, worth EUR 27 million.

Coca-Cola HBC Magyarország Kft., based in Dunaharaszti, is a member of the Coca-Cola HBC AG Group and employs 1,000 people.

Coca-Cola HBC Magyarország has a total of HUF 125 billion (EUR 337.8 million) in Hungary to date.
