Lipóti Tóth és Társai Zrt. inaugurated its baking plant in Hatvan, which was built with an investment of HUF 20 billion (EUR 52.6 million). The largest bread, pastry and confectionery production plant in Hungary was established in Hatvan. The development created 260 new jobs.
The 20,000 square meters plant was built within two years with a HUF 6.7 billion (EUR 17.6 million) government grant and a substantial equity contribution and bank loan. The aim of the investment is to strengthen the international competitiveness of the company, which has been operating for more than 30 years, and to establish a nationwide network of stores in the domestic market within 2-3 years. The Hungarian-owned family business has 70 suppliers and around 350 stores.
