This is how the rules of the Széchenyi Recreation Card (SZÉP card) change. Sub-accounts are abolished, the amounts can be used freely for accommodation, catering and leisure.
The payment of the tourism development tax of 4% of the net turnover will be suspended between October 1, 2022 and March 31, 2023, the amounts already paid can be reclaimed.
The government is also relaxing the requirements for mandatory data service for the tourism sector for six months and extending the deadline for accommodation certification by one year. In addition, there is only the possibility of a 24-month working time limit in tourism.
