The South Korean brand KIA continues to lead the electric vehicle market in Hungary this year, with a 12.3% share of the market, and with 321 vehicles sold in the first half of the year.
The brand has steadily increased the share of its e-models (hybrid, plug-in hybrid, electric) in its sales. After 13% last year, the share could rise to 17% this year. In 2021, KIA sold 8,800 vehicles in Hungary, this year 8,500 vehicles are targeted, and 6,171 units had already been sold by August.
KIA has 27 sales points and 30 service points in Hungary.
