Vajda-Papír – New plant in Dunaföldvár

Vajda-Papír is building a new plant in Dunaföldvár. Using profits generated in Norway, the company will create 64 new jobs. The total investment of  HUF 71 billion (approx. EUR 184 million euros) will significantly increase production capacity. The government is supporting the investment with HUF 25 billion (EUR 64.7 million).

As a result of the development, the production of wet wipes can also be launched domestically. Until now, this product had been imported into Hungary. With a focus on renewable energy, the company is also constructing a solar park.

Vajda-Papír is a key player in Hungary’s household paper production and one of the most modern hygiene paper manufacturers in Europe. It employs nearly 600 people in Hungary and 700 abroad, and exports to 30 countries.
