GE Vernova, the U.S. manufacturer of gas turbines, is investing an additional HUF 9.5 billion (nearly EUR 24 million) in Veresegyház. This investment is intended to secure approximately 2,000 jobs at the site. The state is supporting the project with a 30% subsidy rate.

With this move, GE Vernova is not only expanding its capacity in Hungary but also reducing its environmental footprint through investments in energy efficiency.

The approximately 1,500 U.S. companies operating in Hungary remain the third-largest investor community in the country, supporting over 100,000 jobs.
