Ganz Kft. has launched an investment program worth EUR 52 million, with the key element being the construction of an entirely new transformer plant in Tápiószele (Pest County) by the end of 2026.
In addition to the new transformer plant, which will be built on nearly 6,500 square meters, the development also includes increased storage capacity, upgraded and more efficient material handling, the ability to test transformers in a dedicated testing room, and a newly connected warehouse for raw material logistics. The refurbishment of old transformers will also be relocated to a new 600 square meters facility by 2027. Under the GANZ 2030 program, the workforce is planned to be expanded by at least 200 employees.
This is not Ganz’s first major development program. The company had already invested EUR 12 million in technological advancements at the beginning of 2024.
Ganz Kft. manufactures custom-made high-voltage electrical equipment, transformers, motors, and generators. It also provides comprehensive services and digital solutions to both Hungarian and international clients. With over 600 employees, it is the largest employer in the Tápiószele region.
