CTP Magyarország has handed over a new 100,000 square meters logistics center to Tesco Globál Zrt. near Szigetszentmiklós. The facility was built on a greenfield site covering an area of 60 hectares.
The center includes two refrigerated halls with different temperature ranges, a hall for dry goods, a truck wash, a vehicle repair and forklift service, a petrol station and charging stations for electric vehicles. Energy supply is ensured by 8,620 solar collectors with a total output of 3.75 MW.
It will supply Tesco stores nationwide from March 2025. The new logistics center will optimize the delivery of goods for Hungarian customers while reducing carbon dioxide emissions and environmental impact.
